Business Partnering

  • Be a sparring business partner for functions, to proactively provide guidance and insights related to major financial issues that may impact the performance in the future.
  • Ensure that all business decisions are made, and business activities/operations executed under full consideration of all financial implications.
  • Proactively advise business if any opportunity to reinvest or revisit customer plans.

Forecast and budgeting

  • Lead robust forecasting and budgeting process that delivers strong and meaningful forecast through a simplified approach that manages inputs demand from functions
  • Provide instructions and timeline on budgeting process and cycles across the organization
  • Responsible for overall planning of GM-EBIT after Tax and input into TM1.
  • Support calculation of impact of price increases on Gross Margin.
  • Support business on budget preparation and manage important budgeting schedules ensuring all input will be submitted OTIF.
  • Margin driver planning, review and comment on variances.

Finance Controlling

  • Lead team to ensure controlling activities will be delivered OTIF.
  • Provide guidance for GE to ensure the delivery of the results.
  • Overseeing key financial KPIs and provide analysis and insights to support business on managing full SOI (GM, MB, GE, etc).
  • Provide necessary financial reports and data to support business cases for investing and promoting sales and profitability.
  • Ensure OTIF deliverables of performance tracking versus budget and raise if any major risks & opportunity to management.
  • Monitor GM and ensure accurate and robust forecasting.
  • Confirm at quarter and year-end that accruals are in line with spending.
  • Review monthly/quarterly sales incentives for Beauty Advisors ensure it’s in line with the budget.
  • Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and way of working related to reporting and forecasting process for Marketing, GE & Others.
  • Represent or lead ad-hoc assignment and projects
  • Ensure internal control policies and compliance related to sales are up to date and followed at all levels.
  • Support all internal and external audit related activities and follow through actions upon recommendations
  • Conduct refresh training regularly for business partners (on processes, tools, etc).
  • Create, implement, maintain and monitor RCM & local policies

Team Management

  • Manage overall performance of Accounting team. Address performance issues if any.
  • Provide support to team member on performance and development.
  • Improve team engagement and take lead in steering engagement action of team.
  • Ensure team members conform with company rules & regulation.

Your Profile

Skills

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA/Master's preferred.
  • Experience: 7-10 years in Business Controlling, with at least 3 years leading a team.
  • Commercial Exposure: Experience in Sales, Marketing, or Supply Chain concepts.
  • Leadership: Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strategic Thinking: Ability to analyze financial trends and market data, translating data into actionable recommendations.
  • Business Acumen: Understanding of FMCG business dynamics and pace.
  • Communication: Excellent communication and presentation skills in English; comfortable engaging with senior stakeholders, including senior directors.
  • Technical Skills: Advanced skills in Excel, PowerPoint, and SAP; knowledge of Power BI is a plus.
  • Personal Attributes:
