Inviting applications for the role of Consultant , Application Support Engineer !

We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented individual to join our team as a Consultant, Application Support Engineer . In this role, you will provide support for Spring Boot applications, including debugging, maintenance, and troubleshooting, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve application-related incidents. You will also analyze application logs to identify and resolve issues promptly, contributing to the improvement of support processes and documentation.

Responsibilities

  • Build technical understanding of the Payments ecosystem
  • Provide technical support for batch jobs and applications, including debugging, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
  • Analyze application logs to identify and resolve issues promptly .
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to triage and resolve application-related incidents, including customer reported complaints .
  • Participate in incident management processes to ensure timely resolution of issues and minimize business impact .
  • Provide impact analysis of vendor changes and support vendor changes
  • Contribute to the improvement of support processes and documentation

Qualifications we seek in you!

Minimum Qualifications / Skills

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills .
  • Experience in change management and incident management processes .
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills .
  • Experience in Unix/Shell scripting for automation tasks.
  • Experience in SQL.

Preferred Qualifications/ Skills

  • Familiarity with monitoring tools such as SumoLogic , Splunk, and Dynatrace .
  • Familiarity with cloud technologies, particularly AWS .
  • Knowledge of DevOps principles and practices .
  • Familiarity in change and incident management
