Job Description

This is a remote position.

Our focus is on developing the very best mobile and web applications and building long-term relationships with our clients. We are looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer to manage the deployment, automation, and security of an ERP system on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). The selected candidate will be responsible for implementing CI/CD pipelines, optimizing cloud infrastructure, and ensuring high system availability.

Key Responsibilities:

Cloud Infrastructure Management (GCP)

  • Configure and optimize Compute Engine, Cloud SQL, Cloud Storage.
  • Manage IAM roles, security policies, and compliance requirements on GCP.

CI/CD & Deployment Automation

  • Implement CI/CD pipelines using Google Cloud Build, Cloud Deploy, Terraform.
  • Automate software releases and database migrations.
  • Ensure zero-downtime deployments.

Monitoring & Performance Optimization

  • Set up logging, monitoring, and alerting using Google Stackdriver, Prometheus.
  • Optimize cloud resource utilization to reduce costs and improve scalability.

Security & Compliance

  • Implement secure coding best practices to prevent vulnerabilities (SQL injection, XSS, etc.).
  • Conduct security audits and ensure compliance with industry standards.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer.
  • Expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) (Compute Engine, Cloud SQL, IAM, networking).
  • Experience in CI/CD automation with tools like Cloud Build, Terraform, Kubernetes.
  • Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash, YAML) for automation.
  • Knowledge of security best practices in cloud environments.
  • Experience in database migrations and cloud-based ERP deployments.

Nice-to-Have:

  • Experience in ERP system deployments.
  • Knowledge of SQL Server administration on Cloud SQL.
  • Familiarity with ASC 606 / IFRS 15 compliance.
