THE WORK:
As a Database Administrator, you will be responsible for managing, developing, and testing databases. Your typical day will involve designing and implementing new databases, performing backup and recovery tasks, and ensuring the overall maintenance of database systems.
Roles & Responsibilities:

Collaborate and manage the team to perform
Responsible for team decisions
Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions
Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams
Ensure data security and integrity
Optimize database performance
Implement database backup and recovery strategies
Here’s what you’ll need:
Required Skill: Expert proficiency in Database Administration
Additional Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in AWS Administration, Oracle Database Administration (DBA)
Strong understanding of database management systems
Experience in database design and implementation
Knowledge of backup and recovery procedures
Familiarity with configuration management
Additional Information:
The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in Database Administration.
This position is based at our Manila office.
A AWS Certified SysOps/Solutions Architect - Associate is required.
Preferred certifications include AZ-104, and a must-have certification is DP-300.
