  • Decides which supplier is in charge for deliveries to the different regions.
  • Decides on laboratory tests for new and existing products.
  • Authorized to sign Purchasing contracts together with the Central Purchasing Officer

Targets of the position:

  • Develop categories so that all SKU`s have strong volume and excellent quality.
  • In order to do so he does everything possible to become an expert of his categories with excellent knowledge of the local as well as international markets.
  • Develop as many Private Labels as possible.
  • Ensure lowest cost and best terms and conditions for the company.
  • Works with all departments in collaboration in each subject, in order to get the best results for the company.
  • In order to stay ahead of competition, it is required to apply the principle of economy to the maximum extent.

Other Qualifications:

  • Candidates must have 5 years of work experience as a Category Manager, Merchandiser Manager, Import Manager, Category Buyer or Private Label Development Manager in retail or FMCG manufacturing industries.
  • Experience in Private Label development is an advantage.
  • Candidates must have a strong personality, excellent negotiation skills, maturity in decision-making, resourcefulness, and be output oriented.
  • Must be flexible and willing to be assigned in Taytay Rizal
