Job Summary
Finance Manager leads all day-to-day accounting operations, with functional responsibility for accounting, accounts payable and receivables. The Finance Manager supervises the Accounting and Finance Team, new hire onboarding and other related functions.
Functional Duties & Responsibilities:
- Maintain system of accounts and keep books and records on all transactions and assets.
- Prepare and analyze accurate monthly financial and management reports, including income statements, balance sheet, budget and variance, projections and forecast, and cash flow.
- Ensure that financial reports are prepared and delivered on time
- Review financial data for accuracy, correctness and completeness
- Monitor and manage all expenses within the allotted budget
- Maintain control of the following areas: general ledger, accounts payable, expense reports, receivables and billings.
- Oversee the overall corporate budgeting preparation, management and monitoring processes
- Review account reconciliations reports
JOB SPECIFICATIONS
a. Education
- Graduate of Bachelor of Science in Accountancy
- Certified Public Accountant
b. Job Experience
- At least seven (7) years of finance and accounting experience, including finance, accounting, audit, and analysis (including gathering, evaluating, presenting, and reporting financial information to management)
- Solid experience in coordinating audit activities and managing reporting, budget development analysis, accounts payable and receivable, general ledger, payroll, and accounting for investments.
c. Competencies Required
- With advance presentation and facilitation skills
- Proficiency in accounting software and excellent Excel skills.
- Proactive, hands-on manager who will own responsibility for the Finance Department
