JOB SUMMARY

Oona Insurance is seeking a Strategic Alliance Manager (General Insurance) to drive our partner relationships and revenue growth within our general insurance business in the Philippines. This role combines relationship management, revenue accountability, and operational oversight to ensure successful partnerships.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Partnership Management

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with strategic partners through regular communication, quarterly business reviews, and strategic planning sessions
  • Conduct monthly partner performance assessments and provide actionable feedback for improvement
  • Identify cross-selling and upselling opportunities within existing partnerships
  • Create and implement partner engagement plans with clear objectives and timelines
  • Organize and facilitate partner training sessions on new products and services
  • Manage conflict resolution between partners and internal departments

Revenue Ownership

  • Own and achieve quarterly and annual revenue targets for assigned partner channels
  • Conduct monthly pipeline reviews and implement corrective actions when necessary
  • Develop pricing strategies and special offers in collaboration with product teams
  • Track partner sales performance against KPIs and implement action plans for underperforming partners
  • Forecast monthly and quarterly revenue projections with at least 85% accuracy
  • Identify and pursue new partnership opportunities through market research and networking

Operational Oversight

  • Review and approve partner-generated insurance applications within 24-hour turnaround time
  • Coordinate with underwriting teams to ensure timely policy issuance (within 48 hours)
  • Oversee partner onboarding process, including system setup, training, and documentation
  • Conduct quarterly compliance audits on partner sales practices and documentation
  • Manage partner commission structures and payment schedules
  • Develop and implement standardized operating procedures for partner activities

Reporting & Administration

  • Produce daily sales reports tracking new business, renewals, and cancellations
  • Generate weekly partner performance dashboards highlighting key metrics
  • Prepare monthly revenue collection reports and follow up on outstanding payments
  • Conduct monthly reconciliation of partner commissions and resolve discrepancies
  • Create and deliver quarterly business reviews to senior management
  • Maintain accurate partner data in CRM systems and ensure data integrity

QUALIFICATIONS

Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in partnership management, preferably in insurance or financial services
  • Strong understanding of the Philippine insurance market and regulatory environment
  • Excellent relationship building and negotiation skills
  • Proven track record in meeting revenue targets
  • Strong analytical and reporting capabilities

Preferred

  • Knowledge of insurance policy issuance processes
  • Background in partner operations management
