Key Responsibilities

  • Bank Reconciliation of all organisational accounts
  • Credit Card Reconciliation of all organisational accounts
  • Load supplier invoices into Xero Accounting System via Hubdoc
  • Prepare weekly pay schedule and batch payments in Xero
  • Reconcile supplier statements to ensure our records match our vendors
  • Reconcile payments received from customers
  • Liaise and communicate with wholesale customers to investigate any variances with payment and follow up on unpaid invoices.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to address and resolve financial discrepancies and issues.
  • Provide recommendations and process improvements to enhance financial operations
  • Month end tasks, such as accrual journals and balance sheet reconciliations
  • Assist the Finance Manager with ad hoc duties where necessary

Qualifications:

  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting and regulatory compliance
  • Proficiency in Xero, Hubdoc, Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
  • Ability to handle sensitive financial information with confidentiality and integrity.
