Network Operations Technician (L2 Technician, MSP)
ROLE SUMMARY
Our client is looking for a Network Operations Technician, internally known as Level 2 Technician who delivers world-class support to clients by troubleshooting, deploying network servers, and managing security.

Saturday to Wednesday
8:00 AM – 5:00 PM Central Daylight Time (9:00 PM – 6:00 AM Philippine Standard Time)
9:00 AM – 6:00 PM Central Daylight Time (10:00 PM – 7:00 AM Philippine Standard Time)
10:00 AM – 7:00 PM Central Daylight Time (11:00 PM – 8:00 AM Philippine Standard Time)
11:00 AM – 8:00 PM Central Daylight Time (12:00 AM – 9:00 AM Philippine Standard Time)

POSITION TYPE: Full Time
WORK ARRANGEMENT: Remote
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Provide advanced troubleshooting Tier 2-3 issues and outages
- Rebuild Active Directory environments
- Deploy network servers and technology tools
- Update security through access controls, backups, and firewalls
- Support client end-users via telephone, email, and in-person
- Create concise technical documentation
QUALIFICATIONS:
- A Bachelor’s degree in the related field is preferred
- 5+ years of experience in business IT support, helpdesk, or NOC
- Experience with databases (SQL) is preferred
- Knowledge of system security (e.g. intrusion detection systems) and scripting experience (PowerShell) is ideal
- Current Microsoft Certification (MCSA, MCSE, or similar), systems certification (Citrix or VMware), and networking certification (CCNA, SonicWall, or Watchguard) are preferred
- Expert knowledge in Microsoft server and desktop operating systems (Windows Server 2016/2019/2022, and Windows 10/11)
- Great networking skills (configuring firewalls)
- Expertise with backup/recovery systems
- Ability to project a professional, friendly image over the phone and video call
- Ability to analyze and solve problems quickly and completely
- Must be able to work independently
- Excellent coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Self-motivated, can handle multiple assignments simultaneously, and has a proven track record in customer service
- Ability to provide exceptional customer experience
