Role Description
This is a full-time remote role for a Medical Biller. The Medical Biller will be responsible for managing patient billing processes, handling insurance claims, and ensuring coding accuracy. Day-to-day tasks include processing denials, coding with ICD-10, and dealing with insurance providers including Medicare. The role demands precision, comprehensive knowledge of medical terminology, and the ability to work efficiently in a remote setting.
Qualifications
- Strong understanding of Medical Terminology and ICD-10 coding
- Experience with processing Insurance claims and handling Medicare
- Ability to manage Denials and correct coding issues
- Attention to detail and accuracy in billing processes
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and remotely
- Experience in mental health care billing is a plus
- High school diploma or equivalent; certification in medical billing preferred
