Legal Associate
Join the Premier Gaming-Focused Consulting Firm in the Philippines
Arden Consult is the premier gaming-focused consulting firm in the Philippines, trusted by leading international clients at the intersection of law, business, and emerging technologies. We are Chambers-ranked for our work in TMT and Gaming Law, and continue to be the go-to advisor for cutting-edge legal issues in these rapidly evolving sectors.
We are expanding our presence with a new office in BGC, Taguig, and are looking for a high-potential Legal Associate to join our boutique and fast-paced team.
At Arden, you’ll work closely with partners and foreign clients, directly influencing transactions and legal strategies. This role is ideal for someone hungry to grow, keen to be hands-on, and excited to advise clients operating at the forefront of gaming, fintech, media, and technology.
You Might Be a Good Fit If…
- You’re looking for more responsibility and want to move beyond just supporting transactions — you want to help lead them.
- You’re passionate about the legal and regulatory challenges facing the gaming, fintech, and tech industries.
- You’re energized by the idea of working with high-profile international clients and on projects that shape the future of their industries.
- You want to be part of a high-performing team that values collaboration, initiative, and top-tier work.
- You’re ready for more autonomy and ownership in your role, with the guidance of experienced partners — not micromanagement.
What You’ll Do
- Take the lead on drafting and negotiating a range of legal agreements (e.g., commercial contracts, partnership agreements, service agreements, NDAs), with real client ownership.
- Support corporate transactions end-to-end, including due diligence, deal structuring, negotiations, and documentation — not just the back-end work.
- Work directly with foreign and cross-border clients, offering practical legal advice and ensuring smooth communication and execution of deals.
- Conduct legal research and provide actionable insights in the areas of corporate, commercial, and regulatory law.
- Help clients design internal compliance protocols and manage legal risk.
- Assist clients with regulatory applications, permits, and interactions with government agencies.
- Stay ahead of legal developments in key industries like gaming, media, and tech — and be a part of shaping how clients respond.
- Interface and advocate for clients with regulators such as PAGCOR, SEC, DTI, and more.
What We’re Looking For
- Juris Doctor (JD) from a top law school
- Active member of the Philippine Bar
- 1–3 years of experience at a leading law firm, with a focus on corporate, commercial, or transactional law
- Strong skills in contract drafting, review, and negotiation
- Experience working on deals or commercial matters, with demonstrated initiative
- Excellent communication skills and a professional, client-focused demeanor
- Eager to step into a more active, client-facing role with greater responsibility
- Strong attention to detail, time management, and a collaborative mindset
Nice to Have
- Previous experience advising foreign or international clients
- Exposure to or interest in Gaming, Fintech, and TMT sectors
- In-house or secondment experience
