Duties and responsibilities, as they align to Ryan’s Key Results

- Create a positive team member experience.
- Works with Talent Acquisition team members to assist with scheduling interviews, referral bonuses, and PO submissions.
- Works to establish strong relationships with hiring managers and understand needs.
- Initiates first point of contact with qualified potential candidates to schedule/conduct interviews and provide information about the organization and position.
- Arranges and administers interview schedules with internal clients, including scheduling meeting times and rooms.
- Makes and negotiates offers with candidates.
- Consults appropriately and maintains positive contact with internal clients, applicants, job posting vendors, professional organizations and agencies regarding recruiting activities at Ryan, Inc.
- Actively sources, screens, evaluates and hires qualified applicants for all administrative and temporary worker positions throughout the Firm, using various methods such as job board postings, resume drops, cold calling, online networking tools, specialty groups, temporary agencies and trade associations.
- Researches industry trends relating to job fairs, professional organizations, job postings, and networking opportunities.
- Reviews application and background release forms submitted by candidates to ensure work history, education, training, job skills, and salary requirements are completed.
- Conducts background checks, administers assessments, and conducts reference checks on applicants.
- Makes recommendations for interviews based on initial assessment regarding the individual's qualifications.
- Coordinates air, lodging, and transportation arrangements for candidates.
- Communicates effectively through written and verbal channels.
- Creates and processes offer letters for approval.
- Maintains reports reflecting interview activity and Equal Employment Opportunity Commission information.
- Updates Applicant Tracking System with candidate information and provides candidate paperwork to Human Resources Administration at point-of-offer acceptance.
- Files and maintains applicant records for future references.
- Observes and maintains confidentiality of Firm matters.
- Assists with campus recruiting efforts as time permits.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources, or related field and experience leveraging direct sourcing, networking, and online sourcing techniques for recruiting professionals in the Accounting, Tax, or Finance field.
- Candidates must have a demonstrated ability to drive and achieve results.
