The Portfolio Marketing Supervisor oversees and spearheads the end-to-end product marketing process, from launch to end of life. The selected candidate has a deep understanding and appreciation of Vertiv’s portfolio and will closely collaborate with global portfolio marketing, regional offering, and regional sales teams in ensuring effective execution of marketing launch and promotional initiatives.
Roles and Responsibilities:
• Oversee the new product development introduction process to guarantee launch activities are aligned with global and regional requirements, as well as industry best practices.
• Collaborate with Sales, Marketing and Offering teams to strategize and deploy effective product launches for global, regional, and local products.
• Enforce compliance to various processes: global launch process, marketing fulfillment requirements, etc.
• Facilitate the development and deployment of marketing strategies to promote current portfolio by closely working with regional and global marketing functions.
• Own product launch key messaging document and work cross functionally with global marketing and global offering teams to ensure alignment.
Requirements:
• Minimum 3-5 years experience involved in product marketing, project management, and/or marketing strategy.
• Strong experience in launching products in a B2B/technology/manufacturing space.
• Must be able to multitask and work well under pressure.
• Proactive communicator.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to pick up technical concepts quickly.
• Enthusiastic and persistent problem solver.
• Excellent organizational skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Self-motivated; comfortable owning processes/projects and seeing them through to completion
• Process-oriented
• Knowledge of data center software/hardware solutions and industry trends is a plus
