The Product & Marketing Specialist is responsible for monitoring and improving the company’s online presence while adhering to search engine standards particularly that of Google. They will take part in the SEO off-page optimization of the website which includes: online content management, data entry and analysis, graphics development, and site promotions. This includes but is not limited to:
• Writing, editing and proofreading site content and effectively using keywords to generate organic search results.
• Checking and updating data across the different pages of the site to guarantee that the company offers products with accurate, timely, and precise information.
• Designing and illustrating different product images, banners and ads for online promotions and marketing campaigns.
• *Please note, this is a mid-shift position (6PM - 3AM PH) offering a WFH setup**
Job Functions:
1. Website Management & Optimization – Work Percentage: 80%
• Responsible for contributing content (image/articles) for the local website, internal blog or other special marketing/merchandising projects.
• Provide web page titles, meta keywords and descriptions that will help generate more traffic from the major search engines.
• Develop creative product descriptions to include keyword/s or phrases that will increase the search engine ranking of our site pages.
• Create, edit and upload high quality product images to give more aesthetic value to the site, and to provide the site visitors with the closest visual representation of the item.
• Ensure that all uploaded and live items on the website have been optimized and are up-to-date to attract and engage visitors and viewers.
• Encode all necessary measurements, imprint options, pricing, and other special charges.
• Design and develop banners, ads and other graphics for marketing campaigns, and promotions when needed based on the client’s specifications.
2. Quality Assurance – Work Percentage: 10%
• Maintain quality artworks and an error free output.
• Uses sound judgement in decision making to achieve daily goals and to know when to escalate issues to the supervisor.
3. Collaboration with Team Members – Work Percentage: 5%
• Communication with the team and management on project development, timelines and results.
• Provide SEO recommendations in coordination with elements and structure of websites and web pages.
• Contribute to overall marketing strategy and provide fresh insight for improvement.
4. Progressive Training – Work percentage: 5%
• Develop and recommend changes to existing methods and systems to increase the accuracy, efficiency and responsiveness of the department as a whole.
• Closely work with team manager to enhance daily productivity & efficiency.
Job Qualifications:
Education/Certification:
• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s/College Degree, Business, Marketing, Communications, Advertising or equivalent
Required Experience:
• 1-2 years of experience in an SEO Specialist / Web Content Writer post
Skill and Ability:
• Has functional knowledge in Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator
• Excellent communication skills – written and verbal
• Proven SEO and SEM experience
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Knowledge of web media and technology
