SMC Integrated Merchandising Services Inc. (SMCIMSI) is the dedicated merchandising arm of San Miguel Corporation (SMC). It is a wholly owned subsidiary established in March 2019 to provide merchandising services to the different business units of the San Miguel Group. SMCIMSI is geared to support the diverse business unit of SMC through providing expert merchandising services, not just ensuring that products are available anytime, anywhere, but expanding the role of the merchandisers to be brand ambassadors of the products they carry. Since 2019, SMCIMSI has handled the merchandising requirements of two businesses under San Miguel Foods, namely the Protein and Animal Nutrition Business (Magnolia Chicken Station, Monterey Meats Station, and Nutrichunks) and Prepared and Packaged Foods (Refrigerated Meats and Dry Goods). Beginning in 2022, SMCIMSI is already covering the merchandising operations of Ginebra San Miguel Inc. for the Visayas region. Preparations are underway to take over the merchandising operations of the balance Beverages businesses of San Miguel Corporation-San Miguel Brewery, SMYPC Wine Brothers, and other areas for Ginebra San Miguel Inc.

Qualifications:

Educational Background: Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, Behavioral Science, or Human Resources Management

Work Experience: At least 1 year of experience in recruitment

Skills and Knowledge:

  • Proficient in MS Office Applications
  • Proficiency in using SAP is an advantage.
  • Excellent customer service and relationship management skills

Location Requirement: Must be willing to work in General Trias, Cavite.

Job Description: The Human Resources Assistant works closely with the Coordinators, Merchandisers, and Area HR Supervisor to assist employees throughout the hiring and onboarding process. The primary responsibilities include:

  • Job posting and advertising.
  • Shortlist qualified candidates based on job requirements.
  • Schedule an interview between candidates and hiring managers.
  • Background checks and reference verifications.
  • Onboarding support.
  • Document Management and reporting.
  • Performing other tasks as assigned by the immediate superior.
