POSITION TITLE: HSE SPECIALIST

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Monitoring of all activities of the assigned construction project/s with the end view of ensuring compliances with existing standards and requirements (i.e. air, noise, water, etc.).
  • Make sure company standards, procedures and practices are being followed to ensure projects are successful.
  • Maintain liaison with various government agencies and/or local pollution control officers.
  • Handle other matters of environmental concerns as needed/required.
  • Provide project portfolio reporting capabilities.
  • Participate in continuous improvement process, which is part of a quality policy.
  • Facilitate Project Management meetings.
  • Shall keep abreast with the requirements of the government authority and the latest available technology on prevention, control, and abatement of pollution.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Graduate of BS Construction Engineering related Degrees
  • Must be a PRC-license holder; preferred with DENR and LLDA Certificates of Training; Project Management is a plus.
  • With at least 2-3 years relevant working experience.
  • Familiarity with Philippine Environmental Laws and Regulations
  • Familiarity with Occupational Health and Safety and Environmental Management Systems
  • Strong influencing and stakeholder management skills
  • Effective written and oral communication skills
  • Strong computer literacy, Knowledge of statistical analysis tools
  • Ability to come up with structured report easily, Strong people skills, Fluent spoken and written English, Experience in project handling
  • Candidates must be willing to work on-site at MOA Complex, Pasay City.
