• Monitor market trends, pricing and demand forecasts to anticipate and address supply chain challenges.

Procurement and Supplier Management

• Source and negotiate with suppliers to secure quality meat products at competitive prices.
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with local & international suppliers
• Ensure timely and accurate delivery of raw materials

Inventory and Warehouse Management

• Oversee inventory levels to balance supply and demand, minimizing waste while ensuring product availability.
• Ensure proper handling and storage of perishable goods in compliance with food safety standards
• Optimize warehouse operations to improve efficiency and reduce costs.

Transportation and Logistics

• Manage logistics operations, including inbound and outbound transportation, to ensure timely delivery of products
• Oversee cold chain logistics to maintain product quality during transit
• Resolve transportation issues such as delays or damages

Compliance and Quality Assurance

• Ensure all supply chain activities comply with food safety regulations and quality standards (e.g., HACCP, USDA)
• Implement quality control measures to maintain the integrity of meat products throughout the supply chain.

Performance Monitoring and Reporting

• Track key performance indicators for supply chain efficiency, cost, and service quality
• Prepare and present reports to stakeholders with recommendations for process improvements

• Identify opportunities to reduce operational costs without compromising quality or service.
• Manage budgets related to procurement, transportation and warehousing
