Description
The Role
- Support Delivery Governance Policies and Procedures
- Manage and lead complex enterprise technology projects through all project lifecycle phases
- Produce status reporting to project skateholders, including RAID logs
- Lead project review meetings on assigned projects
- Management reporting including status reports, and financial statements on assigned projects
- Control and manage Project budgets upto $1m
- Build and manage project plans, schedules and teams
- Construct robust business cases for Senior Stakeholder and Executive reviews and approvals
- Provide guidance and assistance to internal and external customers regarding the project methodology Delivery processes, etc.
- Support continuous improvement to processes and procedures e.g. project management and financial reporting
- Establish strong working relationship with the line-of-business and outsourcing providers
The Requirement
- Minimum 5years experience in coordinating and managing infrastructure technology projects
- Expertise in gathering and analyzing business requirements and translating business requirements into technical specifications.
- Interpersonal skills to maintain and develop relationships at all levels within Willis Towers Watson and with the outsourcing providers
- Detail oriented with focus on producing high quality work
- Experience taking initiative and working proactively to complete tasks, solve problems and making decisions
- Ability to absorb a lot of information at one time and quickly prioritize the most important points
- Ability to work independently and manage own workload
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to meet deadlines and prioritize
- Industry recognized Project management certification (PMI, PRINCE2)
- Experience of working in IT environment
- An understanding of the ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library) process / disciplines
- Microsoft suite of tools and Project Portfolio Management tools
