As a Freight Analyst You Will
- Audit and analyze freight invoices to ensure compliance with contractual pricing and service agreements.
- Investigate billing discrepancies, duplicate charges, and non-compliant invoices.
- Interpret and apply carrier contracts, tariffs, and pricing structures.
- Validate freight cost calculations and invoice accuracy.
- Develop and maintain KPI reports to monitor freight expenditure and logistics costs.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and analyze areas with significant cost increases.
- Assess freight and logistics data to uncover trends, inefficiencies, and optimization opportunities.
- Prepare and present reports on freight performance, expenses, and cost-reduction initiatives.
- Collaborate with procurement, logistics, and supply chain teams to align freight operations with business objectives.
- Optimize freight operations to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
- Refine data analysis strategies to optimize insights and enhance reporting accuracy.
- Recommend process improvements and share best practices to enhance efficiency.
