What is this role about?

The role is expected to drive and manage the end-to-end pillars of the Supply Chain for lubricants. This role involves strategic procurement, efficient warehousing and on-time delivery of raw materials, packaging and finished goods to ensure the best landed cost. He/She is also tasked to propose process solutions/innovations and initiatives to drive continuous cost improvement/reductions without sacrificing quality

What will YOU do?

  1. Recommend and oversee supply planning strategies involving procurement of base oils, additives, packaging and finished goods for the Lubricants Business.
  2. Negotiates rates, terms & conditions and manage SLA's in contracts with suppliers to ensure continuity of supply at the best landed cost.
  3. Reviews and updates supply chain policies, standards and regulations
  4. Collaborates with other departments to create strategic plans for improvement and to support business growth.
  5. Ensures optimized warehouse utilization by overseeing on-time leakers resolution and replacement.
  6. Effectively manages relationships with strategic partners to enable sound partnership arrangements
  7. Monitors the performance of suppliers, assessing their ability to meet quality and delivery requirements; identifies and qualifies new suppliers in collaboration with other departments
  8. Provides regular coaching and mentoring to Supply Officers and Supervisor.
  9. Performs other related functions as may be assigned from time to time.

What will YOU need?

  • BS Industrial Engineer , BA in Supply Chain Management, or Graduate of a 4-year course related to logistics, business management, engineering or supply chain management
  • At least 7 years relevant experience in supply chain management for lubricants
  • Proficient in Google applications
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Well organized and detail oriented
  • Has Project management skills and Effective Leadership Skills
