ROLE SUMMARY
Our client is seeking a Financial Data Assistant who will be responsible for collaborating with the team and communicating regularly with the accounting team. This role performs accounting data entry tasks and administrative functions. The Financial Data Assistant will be responsible for delivering error-proof work with a positive and professional attitude. This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams. The Financial Data Assistant will be responsible for managing transactions across accounts receivable and accounts payable. You will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate financial records. You will ensure that all financial activities comply with regulations and internal policies, provide timely and accurate financial information to support decision-making, and maintain organized records.
WORK SCHEDULE: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM Eastern Daylight Time (8:00 PM – 5:00 AM Philippine Standard Time), follows Philippine holidays

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Perform data entry to record and categorize financial transactions into the ERP system (NetSuite)
- Record, match, and reconcile invoice information and payments received
- Enter bills and match them with purchase orders
- Perform monthly revenue/refund audits
- Assist with sales tax tracking
- Address inquiries and help resolve issues related to financial transactions
- Refer to the company’s core values to assist in problem-solving
- Manage calendar to schedule daily and weekly workload
- Attend weekly meetings with specific team members
- Fulfill and update tasks and records in the NetSuite System
- Participate in team meetings and 1:1 check-ins to discuss goals, concerns, and growth
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Formal training/education or experience in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field is a plus
- Proficient computer skills and working knowledge of Microsoft Systems, mainly Excel, Teams, and Outlook, with the ability to move between screens and different programs
- Experience using the NetSuite ERP system preferred
- Excellent data entry and reconciliation skills
- Ability to identify and resolve discrepancies in financial records
- Attention to detail, multi-tasking, and organizational skills are a must
- Ability to multitask and prioritize duties as needed
- Strong organization, oral, and written communication skills
- Able to demonstrate strong interpersonal skills with internal relationships
- Aptitude in data management, analytics, and reporting
- Must be able to work both individually and as a team member
