Job Description
The Media Specialist is responsible for channel planning, setting up, implementing, optimizing, monitoring, and reporting on media campaigns. This role requires ensuring media requirements are delivered in a timely manner by closely coordinating with other discipline partners. The specialist will be the key media operator and will work closely with the Media Director in developing and recommending the appropriate KPI settings for assigned brands.

The Media Specialist is responsible for channel planning, setting up, implementing, optimizing, monitoring, and reporting on media campaigns. This role requires ensuring media requirements are delivered in a timely manner by closely coordinating with other discipline partners. The specialist will be the key media operator and will work closely with the Media Director in developing and recommending the appropriate KPI settings for assigned brands.
Business Leadership
- Manage day-to-day operations for assigned brands, including developing channel strategies, media recommendations, platform execution details, and budget management.
- Make sound decisions in media planning, buying, and Digital PR engagements that prioritize quality and value for the client’s investments.
- Make informed judgments on channel selection and media KPIs to execute communication strategies across platforms.
- Make sound decisions on media buying methods before campaign setup to give creative content the best chance of delivering the campaign objective.
- Master internal media processes and ensure all implementations are properly tracked and accounted for.
- Ensure KPIs are delivered by closely monitoring campaigns and implementing necessary optimizations for under-delivery or under-pacing.
- Ensure efficiencies in implementation and optimization of campaigns, including:
- Ongoing management and stewardship of campaigns
- Benchmark and value reporting
- Accurate and timely vendor invoice approval and reconciliation
- Budget reconciliation
- Proper closeout of campaigns through post reports with complete data, key learnings, and actionable recommendations
- Develop an understanding of how to grow clients’ businesses by understanding best practices and media optimizations from a performance-driven perspective.
- Constantly be on the lookout for new platforms and media trends that can be used for current and future campaigns.
- Assist account leads in simplifying and delighting clients on complicated and emerging digital media trends and efforts.
- Work with account leads to provide clear and actionable media reports that meet business objectives and KPIs.
- Ensure policies, procedures, and other relevant regulatory requirements are properly followed by the media team.
- Work well with different departments in the company.
- Contribute and share experience for continuous upskilling, learning, and development of media knowledge for the company.
- Research and implement new techniques and technologies relevant to clients’ media strategies.
- Oversee campaign insights and data mining, create personas, and evaluate target demographics through media audience use, times and places of consumption, and content engagement duration.
- Observe the market regularly to maintain knowledge of audience trends and consumer behavior, and perform competitor research to stay abreast of marketing channels used by competitors.
- Maintain current knowledge and up-to-date trends of paid media platforms, technologies, digital PR, marketing, and industry best practices.
- Work with analytics teams to provide clients with deeper analysis of campaign results and optimizations.
- Work with tech teams to extend brand/product availability to other channels and help amplify creative media ideas.
- Experience in media planning across different platforms.
- Experience in digital media buying (e.g., Facebook, Search, Programmatic, YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn).
- Experience working with various media and DPR vendors.
- Preferably with experience in media self-serve implementation.
- Preferably with experience using Google Tag Manager and UTM builder for tracking/tagging purposes.
- Experience using in-built analytics platforms (e.g., FB Insights, Twitter Analytics, Instagram Analytics, Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager).
- Experience with media platforms (e.g., Google Ads, FB Ads Manager, Keyword Planner, Business Manager).
- Willing to work on-site in BGC Taguig City
- Can start immediately.
