The Labor Relations Associate is responsible in helping the Supervisor, Labor Relations in managing the relationship between the employer and its employees, ensuring that labor laws and regulations are followed and that the rights of both parties are protected.
What Will You Do
- Ensure that 1Aviation’s Vision, Mission, and Values are achieved.
- Promote and ensure compliance with quality, safety, security and customer service standards based on regulatory requirements, government laws, acceptable industry standards and company policies and procedures.
- Executes activities of an effective industrial relations strategy that reinforces a positive discipline culture, in alignment with the organization's mission and vision.
- Drafting and issuing different memorandums as part of disciplinary procedures. This includes Notice to Explain, Notice of Decision, Tardiness memorandum, Return to Work Notices, and other memos as part of disciplinary action.
- Maintaining database/monitoring of different cases such as but not limited to; 1. ER Cases 2. AWOL, 3. Suspensions, 4. Tardiness, 5. Employee Debit Advice (deductions arising from disciplinary action), etc. Generating various reports for the use of the company/management.
- Coordinates with Payroll for the employee’s final pay computation whenever necessary.
- Perform related tasks as assigned by the Supervisor, Labor Relations.
- Attention to detail, deadline-oriented, analytical and with interpersonal skill
- Open to occasional travel for meetings, negotiations, or arbitration hearings
