Position Overview
We are looking for a highly skilled and proactive AWS Support Engineer to join our global Managed Services Team. As the first AWS Support Engineer in this role, you will play a critical part in managing and maintaining our clients' cloud infrastructure, which is essential for the operation of their UiPath robotic process automation (RPA) solutions and other solutions. Your core responsibility will be to ensure the high availability, optimal performance, and robust security of UiPath environments hosted on AWS, and/or AWS environments that send outputs to, and receive inputs from, UiPath environments.

Position Overview
We are looking for a highly skilled and proactive AWS Support Engineer to join our global Managed Services Team. As the first AWS Support Engineer in this role, you will play a critical part in managing and maintaining our clients' cloud infrastructure, which is essential for the operation of their UiPath robotic process automation (RPA) solutions and other solutions. Your core responsibility will be to ensure the high availability, optimal performance, and robust security of UiPath environments hosted on AWS, and/or AWS environments that send outputs to, and receive inputs from, UiPath environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Cloud Infrastructure Management: You will oversee the day-to-day management of AWS cloud resources, ensuring they are configured correctly and operating optimally to support UiPath RPA solutions.
- Incident Response and Resolution: You will be the first point of contact for resolving technical issues and incidents related to the AWS cloud infrastructure, providing timely and effective solutions to minimise downtime and disruptions to UiPath operations.
- Performance Optimization: You will continuously monitor and analyze the performance of the AWS cloud infrastructure, identifying and implementing optimizations to enhance the speed, efficiency, and scalability of UiPath RPA solutions.
- Security Management: You will implement and maintain robust security measures to protect the AWS cloud infrastructure and UiPath environments from unauthorized access, data breaches, and other security threats. This will include patching/updates to new tooling and/or best practices as they evolve.
- Collaboration with Clients: You will work closely with clients to understand their UiPath RPA requirements and provide expert guidance on AWS cloud infrastructure best practices, ensuring their environments are configured to meet their specific needs.
- Continuous Improvement: You will stay up-to-date with the latest AWS technologies and services, proactively identifying opportunities to leverage new features and capabilities to enhance the performance and security of UiPath environments.
- AWS Expertise: Strong knowledge (4+ years) of AWS cloud services, including EC2, S3, RDS, and VPC, and experience in managing and maintaining AWS cloud infrastructure.
- UiPath Experience: Familiarity with the UiPath RPA platform and its integrations with AWS cloud environments.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to cloud infrastructure and UiPath RPA solutions.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to clearly explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Customer Focus: Strong customer service orientation and commitment to providing high-quality support to clients.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field—or equivalent experience.
- AWS Certifications: Solution Architect Associate/Professional desirable.
- Other AWS certifications
- Experience with other cloud platforms (Azure, GCP)
- Scripting or programming skills (Python, PowerShell)
- Knowledge of ITIL or other IT service management frameworks
