In this fast-paced role, you'll ensure that facilities are fully staffed during crucial evening, night, and weekend hours—directly contributing to smooth operations and quality patient care.

What You'll Do:

  • Review facility schedules daily to identify staffing gaps or overstaffing.
  • Coordinate directly with agencies to fill open shifts and cancel unnecessary ones.
  • Monitor and manage multiple staffing platforms, manually posting and updating shift needs when necessary.
  • Conduct outbound communication (calls/chats) to facility staff asking them to take on available shifts when needed.
  • Confirm filled shifts are accurately reflected on schedules and agency platforms.
  • Assist with light Excel-based tracking and administrative tasks.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and use judgment to prioritize critical staffing issues.

Work closely with both internal scheduling teams and external agency partners to ensure smooth shift coverage and staffing compliance. You'll be part of a remote, collaborative team that keeps essential healthcare services running efficiently, especially during off-peak hours.

  • Detail-Oriented: Must catch scheduling inconsistencies and ensure accuracy across platforms.
  • Proactive Communicator: Reaching out to facilities to check in on scheduling needs and comfortable initiating chats and outbound phone calls to coordinate staffing solutions when needed.
  • Organized: Able to manage multiple facilities' schedules and follow up consistently.
  • Team Player: Works well with team members and facility contacts.
  • Resilient: Open to high-call-volume days if necessary, especially during last-minute shift coverage needs.
  • General work experience is required.
