The Role

The Business Development Manager will be responsible for driving new business growth by identifying, pursuing, and securing new client relationships. This role requires strategic thinking, proactive market research, strong negotiation skills, and the ability to build long-term partnerships.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities and potential clients.
  • Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve sales targets and expand our client base.
  • Lead prospect outreach efforts through networking, cold calling, and other methods of client engagement.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships to foster ongoing business opportunities.
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams (sales, marketing, operations) to develop compelling proposals and presentations tailored to client needs.
  • Negotiate contracts and close agreements to maximize revenue and partnership benefits.
  • Attend industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to increase brand visibility and develop industry connections.
  • Maintain detailed records of sales activities, client interactions, and progress in CRM systems.
  • Provide regular forecasts, insights, and market feedback to senior management.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in business development, sales, or related roles, preferably within the BPO or outsourcing sector.
  • Demonstrated track record of successfully achieving sales targets and generating new business.
  • Exceptional negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Strong ability to understand client needs and align solutions strategically.
  • Experience utilizing CRM systems and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team-oriented environment.
  • Results-driven mindset with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Prior experience specifically in the outsourcing or BPO industry.
