We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our team. This role requires a proactive professional who can manage general accounting operations, support lending processes, and contribute to the development of efficient financial systems. The Accountant will play a pivotal role in overseeing the Collections Division, collaborating with various teams across all LeClaire Enterprises (LCE) ventures, and providing critical financial insights to the CEO.
Key Responsibilities
1. General Accounting
- Manage daily accounting operations, including financial reporting and reconciliation.
- Prepare and present daily cash flow reports to the CEO for strategic planning.
- Ensure accuracy and compliance with financial regulations and company policies.
2. Lending Operations Support
- Assist Reindeer Funds with the lending process by maintaining accurate records, managing disbursements, and tracking repayments.
- Provide financial analysis and insights to support lending decisions.
3. Collections Division Development and Oversight
- Design and implement systems for effective collections processes.
- Monitor accounts receivable and ensure timely follow-ups with delinquent accounts.
- Oversee the Collections Division to ensure efficiency and alignment with company goals.
4. Training and Managing Accounting Staff
- Train and mentor the accounting staff to ensure consistent performance and adherence to company standards.
- Delegate tasks effectively and monitor progress to ensure the team meets deadlines and delivers high-quality work.
5. Collaboration with Existing Teams
- Work closely with the current accounting and bookkeeping teams to streamline processes and improve financial management.
- Foster collaboration to ensure seamless integration across departments.
6. Integration with LCE Ventures
- Oversee financial operations for all LCE ventures, including property management, acquisitions, and other business units.
- Provide financial support and analysis to enhance profitability and efficiency within each venture.
7. Strategic Meetings
- Attend and contribute to strategic meetings, providing financial insights and recommendations to support decision-making and business growth.
