The Accountant will play a pivotal role in overseeing the Collections Division, collaborating with various teams across all LeClaire Enterprises (LCE) ventures, and providing critical financial insights to the CEO.

Key Responsibilities

1. General Accounting

  • Manage daily accounting operations, including financial reporting and reconciliation.
  • Prepare and present daily cash flow reports to the CEO for strategic planning.
  • Ensure accuracy and compliance with financial regulations and company policies.

2. Lending Operations Support

  • Assist Reindeer Funds with the lending process by maintaining accurate records, managing disbursements, and tracking repayments.
  • Provide financial analysis and insights to support lending decisions.

3. Collections Division Development and Oversight

  • Design and implement systems for effective collections processes.
  • Monitor accounts receivable and ensure timely follow-ups with delinquent accounts.
  • Oversee the Collections Division to ensure efficiency and alignment with company goals.

4. Training and Managing Accounting Staff

  • Train and mentor the accounting staff to ensure consistent performance and adherence to company standards.
  • Delegate tasks effectively and monitor progress to ensure the team meets deadlines and delivers high-quality work.

5. Collaboration with Existing Teams

  • Work closely with the current accounting and bookkeeping teams to streamline processes and improve financial management.
  • Foster collaboration to ensure seamless integration across departments.

6. Integration with LCE Ventures

  • Oversee financial operations for all LCE ventures, including property management, acquisitions, and other business units.
  • Provide financial support and analysis to enhance profitability and efficiency within each venture.
