The People Partner helps develop and implement the HR strategic initiatives through consultation with, and advisory services to, the management team of the dedicated departments with regards to the implementation of their strategic plans and initiatives from a people and human resources perspective in order to achieve the departmental goals and HR strategy delivery.

What You'll Do

  • Serves as the single point of contact for the dedicated departments in all HR activities.
  • Understands the dedicated departments’ strategic initiatives and the required execution capabilities and consults the leaders about the impact of the current and future people capabilities to achieve the departmental goals.
  • Develops and implements HR strategic initiatives together with the HR leadership team in line with the strategic objectives of the company and the dedicated departments.
  • Guides, monitors, and improves the execution of people management capabilities within the dedicated departments and coaches the leaders in people management skills.
  • Teams with other HR functions in identifying strengths and weaknesses of people management capabilities within the dedicated departments to continuously improve these capabilities.
  • Delivers high quality stakeholder management for the dedicated departments in all HR issues from short-term as well as long-term perspective.
  • Participates proactively in departmental talent management and succession planning.
  • Implements and applies HR services and solutions to departmental requirements, developments, and changes, in cooperation with other HR teams.

What You Need To Have

  • Minimum of 8-10 years' extensive relevant HR experience (generalist or specialist) gained in a large complex global organization with multiple stakeholders
  • Solid experience in being in a senior HR leadership role, and with a deep working knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines, including compensation practices, organizational diagnosis, employee relations, performance management, leadership development, and local employment laws
  • Extensive experience of operating in a business partner model, working with local managers to create positive business outcomes
  • Strong business acumen
  • Able to work confidentially and ethically
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills
  • Exposure to Project management and change management
  • Skills needed: Influencing, negotiation and conflict resolution skills; Listening, consultation and coaching skills; Analytical skills; Problem solving and decision making skills
