Scope
- Monday to Friday, 9am to 6pm Pacific with an hour unpaid break
- Managing payroll for 7 different companies
- Primary focus on 2 main businesses with 100+ total employees
- Responsible for monthly payroll processing
- Handle year-end tax documentation (T4s)
- Direct reporting to business owner
- Remote work position
- Process monthly payroll for 100+ employees across multiple companies
- Manage both salary and bonus payment structures
- Prepare and process T4 forms for all employees
- Handle payroll records and documentation
- Process monthly bookkeeping tasks
- Record and track financial transactions
- Maintain accurate employee payment records across multiple entities
- Coordinate with management assistant for document handling
- Process payroll for construction (75 staff) and winery/brewery operations (25 staff)
- Handle additional companies’ financial documentation as needed
- Experience with Canadian payroll processing and regulations
- Knowledge of T4 preparation and filing requirements
- Proficiency in payroll and accounting software
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Experience handling multi-company payroll operations
- Understanding of Canadian tax regulations and compliance
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
- Strong organizational and time management skills
