About the role

The incumbent will be responsible for the full spectrum of accounting functions, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger maintenance, financial reporting, and compliance.

Main Responsibilities

  • Responsible for all accounting processes and related functions for SSP PH, ensuring smooth daily operations of accounting functions, including accounts payable and receivable, general ledger maintenance, and financial reporting.
  • Conduct financial analysis and analytical review, budget planning and rolling forecasting
  • Responsible for cash flow reports and forecasts
  • Be the business partner to work closely with other departments and APAC head office
  • Performed the statutory and tax filings and to compliance of regulatory authorities
  • Co-ordinated and liaison with external parties, bank and auditors for annual audit and tax reporting and planning
  • Participate in ad-hoc reporting, analysis and projects when required

Requirements

  • Diploma/ Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/ Finance or relevant disciplines, professional qualification is preferable
  • A minimum of 3 years of relevant working experience in commercial sectors, experience gained in MNC or food & beverages industry is preferable
  • Thorough understanding of tax regulations and rules
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Mature, self motivated, deadline driven and can work under pressure
  • Good team player, can work with different levels of people
  • Good knowledge in MS Excel and Power Point
  • Good knowledge in Dynamics NAV would be advantageous
  • Immediate availability is highly preferred
