Summary: Seeking a strong Senior Financial Analyst to support the CFO and CEO with financial analyses, reporting, budgeting, and forecasting, as well as strategic and business development projects.
About The Job
Key Duties:
- Lead the annual operating plan process, developing department budgets and collaborating with department heads while maintaining the budget model.
- Develop, prepare, analyze, and provide commentary on dashboards and management reports, including financial metrics/KPIs for the executive team and respective business functions.
- Evaluate financial performance by comparing and analyzing actual results with plans and forecasts.
- Refine and manage the company’s long-term strategic planning and projection model.
- Develop cash, demand/volume/revenue, gross margin, and operating expense forecasts.
Essential Skills:
- Strong financial modeling skills using Excel, including report creation, Excel macros, Power Query, report formatting, and charting.
- Experience with financial analytical platforms (Datarails preferred).
- Strong PowerPoint skills for Board presentations.
- Knowledge of accounting principles and financial statements.
- High sense of urgency and initiative.
- Ability to understand underlying economics and root causes.
- Accountable and conscientious about assignments and quality of work outcome.
- Energetic, efficient, detail-oriented, and accurate in work.
- Strong interpersonal skills to communicate and interact at all levels, presenting a professional demeanor.
