Key Responsibilities:

  • Budgeting & Forecasting:
  • Lead the development of the annual budget, collaborating with department heads to set financial targets.
  • Prepare and update financial forecasts, analyzing trends and performance against budget.
  • Monitor and track key financial metrics, identifying areas of risk or opportunity.
  • Financial Analysis:
  • Conduct regular variance analysis to understand deviations from budget and forecast.
  • Provide actionable insights and recommendations to management based on financial data.
  • Analyze and report on business performance, highlighting key trends and offering forecasts.
  • Reporting & Presentations:
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, highlighting key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Present financial results and projections to senior leadership and other stakeholders.
  • Assist in preparing financial presentations for board meetings, investors, and other external parties.
  • Cost Management:
  • Analyze cost structures and identify opportunities for cost-saving or efficiency improvements.
  • Collaborate with business leaders to implement cost reduction initiatives while maintaining performance.
  • Process Improvement & System Support:
  • Drive continuous improvement of FP&A processes, tools, and systems to enhance accuracy and efficiency.
  • Maintain and improve financial modeling tools and templates.
  • Assist with the integration of new financial systems or technologies as required.
  • Ad-hoc Analysis:
  • Support ad-hoc financial analysis for strategic business decisions and investment evaluations.
  • Conduct scenario analysis to assess potential impacts of different business strategies.
  • Training:
  • Facilitate training sessions for department heads on effectively managing and overseeing departmental budgets.
  • Provide ongoing support and expertise to ensure departments adhere to budgeting processes and financial objectives.

Qualifications:

  • Education:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
  • Professional certification (e.g., CFA, CPA, or MBA) is a plus.
  • Experience:
  • 8-12 years of experience in financial analysis, FP&A, or similar roles, preferably in the BPO industry.
  • Experience with financial modeling, forecasting, and budgeting processes.
  • Strong knowledge of financial planning tools and software (e.g., Excel, Hyperion, SAP, Adaptive Insights).
  • Skills:
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial modeling.
  • Strong analytical skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach.
  • Preferred:
  • Experience with ERP systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP, NetSuite) and FP&A software.
