Senior Credit Analyst - AU Mortgage (WFH) | w/ 30K Sign On-Bonus!

We are looking for someone who is prepared to start in an admin position and learn and develop the processes that underpin the business’ success. For the right person, the role has the potential to grow into a business management position, coordinating the on an offshore staff that will operate these systems. The business has doubled year-on-year turnover for the past few years and is committed to continuing this growth. We are seeking the right person to implement and oversee these processes so that the principal can bring business in.
The role is initially not client-facing and provides backend support for the principal, however, it does require the admin staff to get in touch with the clients via email and, when needed, to answer phone calls.
Responsible for preparing files for submission to the lender. Managing process flow from application to settlement. Responsible for the day-to-day operations of the company, including strategic planning, financial management and human resources.
• Ensuring business meets obligations specified in manuals and as directed from time to time
• Ensuring client files are audit-ready
• Conducting loan reviews at least annually and more often as agreed
• Maintaining client records, such as Client Loan Summary
• Managing loan anniversaries, such as fixed rate and IO expiries
• Developing and adhering to business processes for each stage of the client life cycle
• Create training guides for future support staff
• Assist in the development of service standards and be responsible for ensuring all parts of the business meet and exceed these standards
• Project management abilities to juggle different responsibilities without losing track
• Help with ad-hoc projects like finding Marketing Materials
• Preparing applications for submission to a lender:
- Checking documents and organising client files
- Being in touch with clients to make sure we have all the required documents
- Input data into lender serviceability calculators
- Search and understand lender credit policies and policy checks (parabroking)
- Preparing applications in ApplyOnline (AOL)
- Generating forms and ensuring lender’s requirements have been met, including supporting documents
- Call lenders for updates and follow-ups for mortgage deals.
- Post settlements follow up with client.
Requirements What We're Looking For:
- At least 2 years of AU experience
- Strong knowledge of the mortgage lending process
- Knowledgeable in Australian Mortgage
- Previous finance broking or banking experience
- CRM experience / Salestracker tools
- Attention to detail as in understanding client financials, doing serviceability assessments, reading and understanding lender policies and taking care to ensure key data is accurate, requiring literacy and numeracy
- Strong knowledge of mortgage lending process
