About The Role

As a Business Analyst (Journey Expert) you will work on strategic transformation initiatives across Customer Servicing Operations. You’ll be working with a Product Owner support or an Initiative Lead to deliver one or more strategic initiatives.

This is across the lifecycle of the initiative from discovery, through design and delivery. Partnering closely with business leads to optimise end-to-end customer journeys, improve processes and deliver better customer outcomes.

This role focuses more on Business Operations Business Analytics skills than Technical Business Analytics skills.

What will your day look like?

As a Business Analyst, you are accountable for:

  • Identify and understand the business problem and the impact of the proposed solution
  • Perform current state and future state analysis to support change initiatives.
  • Evaluate business needs,
  • Source and utilise data with stakeholders to validate problem statements and assumptions throughout and after delivery.
  • Complete data analysis and reporting for change design and implementation phases.
  • Ensure requirements are managed in compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
  • Regularly communicating with stakeholders on the progress, issues and risks of the initiatives
  • Support delivery implementation
  • Develop and implement test plans
  • Support and participate in user acceptance testing


What will you bring?

To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:

  • Extensive experience as a Business Analyst or similar position, across project methodologies e.g., Agile and Waterfall
  • Demonstrated experience working collaboratively with business stakeholders
  • Proven experience in successfully applying delivery structures and delivery key knowledge area
  • Experience in requirements gathering, documentation, validation and management
  • Excellent problem solving and analytical skill
  • Experience in Banking will be ideal with knowledge of collections or similar
  • Proven experience in business processes and systems knowledge that impact customer experience
  • Proficiency in process documentation, creating user stories, and constructing clear and detailed functional design and configuration documents
  • Should possess knowledge of agile methodologies and proficiency in supporting tools for e.g., JIRA, confluence, Signavio, Visio
  • Should have knowledge of process mapping and process redesign
  • Should possess customer experience knowledge of collections or dispute processes
  • Knowledge of customer-centric design
