  1. Make sure the webpage is open.
  2. In the Safari app on your Mac, choose Safari > Preferences, then click Security.
  3. Make sure the Enable JavaScript checkbox is selected.
  4. Click Websites.
  5. On the left, click Content Blockers.
  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

  2. Click. then Settings.
  3. Click Privacy and Security.
  4. Click Site settings.
  5. Click JavaScript.

We are looking for an experienced freelance solar drafter to support our residential and some commercial solar + storage projects. This role requires expertise in designing code-compliant plan sets for permit approvals

Position Details:

  • Workload: 5–20 projects per week
  • Turnaround: 24-hour completion time per design
  • Scope: Residential solar PV + storage system designs
  • Software Proficiency: AutoCAD and Aurora Solar or similar design tool
  • Compliance Knowledge: NEC, California Building Code, local AHJ requirements and utility interconnection requirements

Ideal Candidate:

  • Experience with solar design in the state of California and knowledge of local AHJs
  • Familiarity with Tesla Powerwall, Franklin, PointGuard, Q-Cell, and Enphase battery designs
  • Ability to produce high-quality, permit-ready plan sets
  • Experience with CRM, preferably Quickbase
  • Motivated self-starter; ability to work with minimal oversight
  • Reliable, detail-oriented, and meets deadlines consistently
  • Ability to work 8am - 4:30pm PST preferred
  • Experience with creating and managing design template

This is a remote, freelance position with ongoing work for the right candidate. Competitive pay per project.
