
Delivery Manager (Data and Analytics)

The IT Data and Analytics department within the IT group is in charge of defining enterprise data and data architecture, producing data models and data transformation to support analytics and reporting needs across all BDO applications.
As a Delivery Manager, you will be accountable for the end-to-end technical deliverables of Master Data Management (MDM), Business Intelligence (BI), Enterprise Data Platform (EDP), or AI (Artificial Intelligence) projects, meeting scope, schedule and its budget commitments.
Role Responsibilities:
- Accountable for the end-to-end delivery of the Data & Analytics projects, delivering within scope, approved project schedule and budget commitments
- Adheres to BDO's SDLC processes across Service Definition, Service Build, and Service Management
- Assists in prioritization of Data & Analytics Projects as part of the business planning / demand planning cycle
- Develop, maintain, track and report to project stakeholders, realistic project schedule, project budget.
- Provide visibility on the project status to all relevant project stakeholders on the agreed frequency and timing.
- Monitor, manage project risks, assumptions, issues, dependencies throughout the whole project
- Manage the project team, establish ways of working to ensure common understanding and alignment. Responsible in monitoring and taking timely action on the project resource plan e.g. onboarding and offboarding of resources; ensuring all project resources are properly and fully utilized by the project; ensure capacity / allocation are reviewed and aligned with stakeholders, raise any performance concern – if BDO resource, internally; if third party, with the vendor.
- Collaborate with other stakeholders e.g. Project Managers, other platform Delivery Managers that integrates / related with the Data & Analytics projects.
- Oversee and manage day to day activities of the project team provide help, support and direction on any outstanding project concern or questions
- Oversee and manage, provide test status updates during testing phases, especially during SIT and UAT; keeping track of all the scope and timeline of testing, defects, and resolution with the identified owners (solvers and testers)
- Provide technical guidance and support to project team members.
- Help assess change impact analysis, review changes required and handle change management process as necessary.
- Escalate unresolved concerns / issues.
- Responsible for vendors directly involved in providing the services for the delivery scope.
- Ensure all project documentation and manuals are created with quality and on time. Ensure seamless transition / training from project team to Platform Prod support according to process.
- Ensure project resources comply to all BDO mandated trainings.
- Ensure the project complies with all bank policies, standards and procedures.
- Ensure project complies to all BDO project management standards and methodologies.
- Develop the right estimates on capacity needs, on-board and off-boarding timing and any performance issues or unforeseen contention for resources.
- When engaged as test manager, the delivery manager must organize and control the Test activities of the Test Leads under a Project or Unit. The Test Manager ensures visibility in each Testing activity across a Unit or Project and resource planning at this level.

- Technical Skills: Strong understanding of IT’s technical side (systems, configuration, deployment, SDLC life cycle), infrastructure, emerging technologies, and service delivery landscape
- Project Management: Ability to apply knowledge in Work Breakdown Structure, Risk Management, Issue Management, and Dependency Management to effectively organize, plan, and lead multiple initiatives at once.
- Financial Management: Knowledge of budgeting, cost management, and financial planning to ensure that service delivery stays within budget and aligns with financial goals.
- Client Relationship Management: Can effectively communicate and understand client requirements, manage expectations, and ensure client satisfaction throughout the service delivery process.
- Analytical Skills: Problem-solving capabilities, strong analytical skills, and flexibility to be able to handle complex situations as necessary

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree relevant to the job.
- Minimum 3 - 5 years of experience in Enterprise Data Platform and Delivery Management, preferably gained from a bank or financial institution.
- Experience in handling complex projects on financial applications is highly preferred.
- Experience in PMI/PRINCE2 PM framework and/or Agile, Scrum, or Kanban methodology is a plus.
- Knowledge and experience with data initiatives/projects and specific to the following subject area expertise is highly preferred.
- As an MDM Delivery Manager – Informatica MDM
- As a BI Delivery Manager – Power BI
- As an EDP Delivery Manager – Azure Databricks, Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL Server, and Azure Data Lake, CI/CD, or DevSecOps.
- As an AI Delivery Manager – AI / Data Science Projects on Azure OpenAI
- Project Management certification is a plus.
- Candidate must be willing to work in Makati and Ortigas.
