Human Resources Officer
HR Officer
My client is looking for a HR Officer. This will be a remote / home based and full-time position.
Despite the company being WFH, they promote a collaborative and engaging culture and the HR Generalist will work with the leadership team to enhance this.
Responsibilities:
Payroll & HRIS
· Own the bi-monthly Payroll process, using Sprout payroll system
· Gather and ensure accurate payroll data from system
· Act as super user and admin of the internal HRIS - Sprout HR system and assist employees with HRIS issues whenever required
· Organize, compile, and maintain personnel records, enter new data, and update previous employee data in internal HR databases
HR Admin
· Maintain 201 files and ensure complete compliance of employee documents at all time
· Lead the new hire employee onboarding, documentation and orientation processes
· contracts, for approval and sign off from the respective manager(s)
· Answer any employee queries relating to HR and payroll matters
· Assist in all aspects of administration and HR process where required
· Own leave policy and communications
New hire onboarding
· Request and gather all required documentation from applicants to assist the preparation of Job offer. This will include detailed CV, full personal details required, payslips and any other supporting documents and information, as requested.
· Prepare various HR documents, including new hire guides, job offer and employment
Employee Engagement & Communication
· Work with division managers and promote a collaborative and engaging culture
· Implement creative and innovative engagement initiatives for employees
· Own birthday leave and announcements
· Lead the internal employee communications such as newsletters, employee announcements, holiday announcements
· Manage the employee whatsapp group and promote clear & informative communications whenever required
· Promote company culture and employer branding through engaging social media activities and posts
Performance management
· Own KPI documentation and monthly signing process, aligning with division management.
· Consolidation of KPI and performance data
Compliance & Confidentiality
· Remain completely confidential with all documentation and information you are privy to as part of your position within the HR department.
· The highest level of attention to details at-all-times and in all aspects of your work.
· Act as a company ambassador always with both internal and external communications.
· Adhere to and represent the company’s HR handbook, policies and procedures at all times.
These responsibilities are primary but may adapt from time to time, depending on business needs and directions.
Required experience:
· Previous experience using Sprout HR system and Sprout Payroll
· Previous Employee engagement background
· Previous 201 file and HR / employee document management
· Experienced in new hire onboarding, including creating enticing and engaging onboarding process
· Strong internal and external communication skills
· Social media engagement capabilities
· Strong attention to detail and confidentiality with sensitive information and documents
This position requires someone who has the ability to motivate themselves to work autonomously.
Previous WFH / remote working experience would be helpful but not a pre-requisite.
