Job Overview

We are looking for a Mid-Level Laravel/PHP Developer to join our Systems Development Team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining web applications using Laravel and PHP frameworks. This role requires a deep understanding of web technologies, an analytical mindset, and a proactive attitude toward delivering efficient and secure digital solutions. You will play a critical role in supporting internal systems and client-facing applications across various projects. The ideal candidate thrives in a collaborative environment and is driven to deliver innovative systems that support the strategic goals of both internal teams and clients from private and public sectors.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain robust, scalable, and secure Laravel-based web applications.
• Analyze technical requirements and determine end-user needs.
• Design, build, and maintain new and existing web applications and websites.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following industry standards and best practices.
• Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to prioritize tasks, resolve issues, and define content or system criteria.
• Troubleshoot, replicate, and resolve technical issues based on testing and user feedback.
• Ensure cross-browser and cross-device compatibility of developed solutions.
• Maintain and enhance existing systems through testing and bug fixing.
• Integrate front-end and back-end technologies to deliver complete web solutions.
• Perform other related tasks as assigned by management.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years professional experience with PHP, particularly using the Laravel framework.
• Strong understanding of OOP, MVC design patterns, and software development principles.
• Experience with front-end technologies including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, and Bootstrap.
• Proficiency in MySQL or other relational databases.
• Knowledge of RESTful APIs and integration of third-party services.
• Basic understanding of web application security best practices.
• Familiarity with version control systems, preferably Git.
• Knowledge in Agile or Scrum development is a plus.
• Experience with tools like Postman, Composer, or Laravel Mix is an advantage.
• Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Passionate about learning new technologies and improving coding practices.
• Must be a Filipino citizen residing in the Philippines.
• Willing to adapt to new tools and hybrid work arrangements.
