Job Summary:
The Food & Beverage Associate is responsible for promoting and coordinating the use of the venue’s dining and event facilities. This role supports clients in organizing and executing various functions such as banquets, meetings, and special events, while ensuring excellent service and smooth operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Promote the venue’s food and beverage facilities, including dining areas and function rooms, to guests and potential clients
- Assist clients in planning and organizing events such as meetings, banquets, birthdays, and other private functions
- Coordinate with the F&B team and external partners to gather event requirements and prepare necessary documentation
- Conduct site tours and make recommendations based on the client’s needs and the venue’s offerings
- Support menu planning efforts in coordination with the culinary and banquet team
- Ensure event setups and arrangements meet established standards; oversee event execution when required
- Review event setup sheets and assist in personnel scheduling for special functions
- Maintain accurate client records and follow up with potential leads to secure future bookings
- Recommend third-party suppliers for entertainment, decorations, and other event requirements
- Work toward achieving and exceeding event sales or service targets
- Prepare and submit regular reports on event activity and outlet performance
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the Food & Beverage Manager
Qualifications:
- At least 1-2 years of experience in Food & Beverage, Events, or Hospitality preferred
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Good organizational and multitasking abilities
- Knowledge of basic sales and event coordination practices is a plus
- Proficiency in MS Office and basic reporting tools is an advantage
