UCT is looking for a talented Data Analyst to join us in Cebu!

Job Summary:

The Data Analyst – NOL PIR is responsible for ensuring the accuracy, consistency, and reliability of material-related data within the organization. This role involves monitoring and validating data integrity across systems, performing regular audits, and implementing best practices to maintain high standards of data quality. The Material Analyst will work closely with various departments to support accurate decision-making and efficient material management.

Key Responsibilities:

Data Management & Validation:

  • Perform regular audits and data integrity checks to identify and rectify discrepancies or errors.
  • Ensure that material data is consistently updated and correctly reflected in inventory management and ERP systems.

Data Quality Assurance:

  • Collaborate with IT and database management teams to troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues.

Reporting & Analysis:

  • Generate and analyze reports related to data integrity, identifying trends or issues that may impact material management.
  • Provide actionable insights and recommendations based on data analysis to improve data accuracy and operational efficiency.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to data quality and report findings to management.

Process Improvement:

  • Implement best practices for data entry, data cleansing, and data reconciliation to support material management objectives.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Work closely with procurement, quoting, global supply chain, and engineering teams to ensure that material data aligns with operational needs.
  • Support cross-departmental projects and initiatives by providing data analysis and ensuring data consistency.

Compliance & Documentation:

  • Ensure compliance with organizational policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements related to data management.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of data management processes, procedures, and any issues or resolutions.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Strong analytical skills with a focus on data accuracy and integrity.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools (e.g., Excel, SQL).
  • Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving abilities.
  • Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Educational/Certification Requirement:

  • Bachelor’s degree in data science, Information Systems, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.

Experience Requirement:

  • 2-4 years of experience in data analysis, data management, or a similar role, preferably within a supply chain or material management context.
  • Experience with data management tools and ERP systems is preferred.
