Job description
The Human Resources Specialist is a vital member of our team, responsible for a wide range of HR activities to support the organization's growth, efficiency, and overall employee well-being. The ideal candidate is well-versed in various HR functions, including recruitment, administration, employee relations, and disciplinary processes. This role plays a critical part in creating a positive work environment and ensuring compliance with company policies and legal regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Recruitment and Talent Acquisition:
- Collaborate with hiring managers to define job requirements, create job descriptions, and develop effective recruitment strategies.
- Source, screen, and interview candidates, ensuring a seamless and positive candidate experience.
- Conduct reference checks and assist with the onboarding process for new hires.
- Enhance the onboarding process by creating a structured and engaging orientation program for new hires.
- Ensure that new employees receive essential training to succeed in their roles.

2. Administrative Support:
- Maintain and update employee records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
- Manage HR documentation, including contracts, offer letters, and other employment-related paperwork.
- Assist in maintaining HR policies, handbooks, and ensuring consistent application across the organization.

3. Employee Relations:
- Provide guidance and support to employees on HR-related matters, including policies, procedures, and conflict resolution.
- Assist in addressing employee concerns, maintaining open lines of communication, and fostering a positive work environment.
- Contribute to initiatives aimed at improving employee engagement and morale.

4. Disciplinary and Performance Management:
- Assist in implementing performance management processes, including goal-setting, performance evaluations, and development plans.
- Collaborate with managers on disciplinary matters, ensuring consistency and adherence to company policies.
- Support investigations into employee misconduct and recommend appropriate actions.

5. Training and Development
- Design, develop, and deliver training programs that address specific skill gaps, including technical, soft skills, and leadership development.
- Utilize various instructional techniques, such as e-learning modules, workshops, seminars, and hands-on activities.
- Create individual development plans in collaboration with employees and managers.
- Monitor and track employee progress in development programs, adjusting plans as needed.
- Conduct assessments to measure the effectiveness of training programs, gathering feedback from participants and stakeholders.
- Analyze training outcomes and make data-driven recommendations for improvements.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in training and development.

Qualifications:

- Must at least have 2 years of extensive experience hiring US Citizens for an on-site role for companies based in the US.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
-Proven experience in HR roles, including recruitment, administration, and employee relations.
- Strong knowledge of HR laws, regulations, and best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Proficient in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- High level of integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism.
