General Accounting - Payables Officer (BDO Life)

Job Summary

The position is primarily responsible in reviewing all payment requests for the company. Ensure disbursements are prepared on time, processed correctly and with proper approval and supporting documents before payment release. Posting of all payment transactions in SUN system, Life Asia and Medical Assistance System (MAS). Preparation of Regulatory reports. Oversee the Disbursement Accounting team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or any related course.
• With at least 3 years of experience in Accounting - Payables in supervisory capacity. With exposure in dealing with regulatory body.
• Knowledge in Life Asia, SUN system and other accounting system.
• Has the ability to multi-task, embrace change and work comfortably in a fast-paced, multi-cultural, and matrix environment.
• With good verbal and written communication skills.
• Willing to work onsite and be assigned in Makati.
