Duties and Responsibilities:
· Timely and accurate end to end payroll processing for semi-monthly, off-cycle payroll and final pay calculations
· Responsible for the deduction and remittance of all government mandated contributions/deductions.
· Ensure accurate withholding and reporting of local payroll taxes including Tax Annualization
· Resolve complex payroll processing issues to ensure smooth payroll processing
· Stay informed about changes / updates in Philippine payroll laws and regulations
· Generate and distribute payroll reports for Accounting, HR and Management
· Respond to employee inquiries related to payroll and resolve any discrepancies or concerns
· Support all payroll related audit activities and inquiries
· Support Month-end closing activities by reconciling payroll accounts
· Review and analyze monthly compensation accruals and expenses
· Identify opportunities for standardization and process improvements
Requirements:
· Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Human Resources, Accounting or Finance.
· Minimum of 2-3 years Philippine payroll experience
· Possess excellent attention to detail; excellent analytical, and reconciliation skills
· With solid understanding of accounting fundamentals and payroll best practices
· Strong ability to prioritize and organize work effectively with minimum supervision
· Ability to collaborate & communicate effectively with internal partners on issues and provide recommendations
· Ability to work independently and handle multiple projects and tight deadlines
· Able to work in a fast-paced and changing environment
· Handle sensitive information with confidentiality
· Certification in Payroll is a plus
