Position: Accountant, Full time remote individual (no companies), work from home Ok
Hours: USA (Miami) Daytime – 9AM-6PM EST
Length of Employment: This is a long-term position, hopefully for many years!

Experience Required: 5+ Years in the below skills - THIS IS A MINIMUM REQUIREMENT. PLEASE DO NOT APPLY UNLESS YOU HAVE THE EXPERIENCE IN THESE SKILLS:
-Plenty of bookkeeping experience (at least 5yrs)
-Separately, accounting & financial analysis experience (at least 5yrs)
-Experience in QuickBooks or other similar accounting platform

TYPES OF WORK YOU WILL DO:
• Managing client billing & Accounts Receivable
• Accounts Payable – bills verification, clarification & disbursements
• Banking & account recons, General ledger
• P&L and BalSheet Analysis, Budget planning
• Internal reviews & audits
• Quarterly & Annual tax prep for our external accountant
• Handling payroll filings for our external payroll provider
• Reviewing vendor offerings and negotiating better pricing/services, finding new vendors


REQUIREMENTS:
-Strong English
-Friendly enough to handle clients well (usually their accounting teams).
-A mind for analysis – able to notice patterns to things, and when certain numbers just don’t seem right, digging in until you get to the bottom of it.
-Naturally precise and detailed in work and communication.
-Enjoys accounting-related work and wants to continue to learn and grow in the field.
-Well organized (priorities & schedule) with excellent follow-up.
-Very comfortable in Excel – able to do formulas, reporting & charts
