Roles & Responsibilities:
Technical & Functional Support for Calculation Systems (software) (Level 3 ITIL)
· Clients assistance and support on Calculation Systems
· Define solutions to resolve user problems and improve global efficiency.
· Use current ITIL process within ESSILOR IT Department to manage support activities.
· Continuous improvement to maintain performance and high availability of calculation solutions.
Implementation / Deployment
· Performing pre-production setup and successful integration as well as Non Regression Testing prior to implementing in production.
· Providing client assistance and support for upgrade or new implementations calculation software.
· Deploying new customer environments with implementation of Calculation System as well as providing Calculation support for all customers worldwide.
· Conducting User Training for new Services / Evolution in Asia as requested by customers.
· Improve daily operations of support activities by developing appropriate tools or scripts.
Projects
· Projects participation in the development of New Digital Services as required.
· Evaluate system specifications to improve calculation software maintenance.
· Direct contact with Digital Services team in France (support and development team) / India or Philippines
Qualifications:
· Bachelor of Master’s Degree in Computer Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science or related field
· At least 5 years’ experience in IS support and maintenance, Business Analysis maintenance, System analysis or related fields.
· Ability to analyze and synthesize situations
· Ability to understand the business constraints
· Good communication skills, both written and verbal in English
· Maintains strong attention to detail in high-pressure situations
· Available for emergencies on-call support rotations with other team members
· Capacity of problem analysis, Capable of learning by himself/herself and self-motivated
· Good interpersonal skills, intercultural
· Intermediate Technical skill on IIS, XML, MS SQL DB,
· Amazon (Cloud Computing -AWS) (would be advantaged)
· Requires excellent computer skills and ability to use available technical tools
· Knowledge in network configuration would be a plus
· Communication effectively
· Learning on the fly
· Customer oriented and good teamwork
Technical Skills:
The first applications are using the following languages, tools and package:
· Web and Client / Server architecture
· TSQL Stored procedures / queries
· AWS console
Infrastructure includes:
· Windows Server 2008 and later on virtual machines
· SQL/Server 2014 and +, DBMS, SSIS and SSAS
· MSMQ
· IIS 6
· FTP
· Lab machine connections
· Amazon environment
