Job Posting: Filipino Operations Specialist - Startup Truckload Brokerage (Remote)
We are an innovative and rapidly growing truckload brokerage startup based in the Midwest United States, looking for an ambitious, entrepreneurial Filipino professional to join our team remotely and becoming a manager at a soon to be multi million dollar profit company. This is an opportunity to take on a key role, with tremendous potential for growth and leadership within the company. You will start with foundational responsibilities and learning the basics, but quickly rise to become an essential executive leading major operations and managing a growing team.
Must be willing and able to work around the clock, managing issues and handling problems that arise. Hire and train. Work directly with US executives. Manage customer relationships. Interviewing talent and hiring good candidates that would be the best fit for our company. This is not a job for the faint of heart. This is a high stress environment that will take it's toll at the beginning but the benefits will be exponential as the company grows and the job will become more and more hands off. This is not a typical VA role, this is a management and overseas executive role for the main operations of our company. You must not be afraid to take risks, fire employees when they don't meet our standards, and work in a cut throat industry that is highly temperamental and everchanging.
Position: Operations Specialist (Tracking & Tracing)
Starting Pay: $6.50 USD / hour
Operations Pay : Roughly $8.00 - $10.00 USD / hour
Operations Manager Pay : Roughly $10.00 - $15.00 USD / hour
Senior Operations Manager Pay : $15.00 - $25.00 USD / hour
Executive Pay : Upwards of $100,000 USD / year

What You’ll Do:
Your journey begins with tracking and tracing truckloads, ensuring every shipment is moving according to plan. You’ll communicate directly with drivers and customers, updating them on the status of shipments via phone and email . As you progress, your role will expand to include managing entire operations, leading teams, and helping grow the company from the ground up.
Initial Responsibilities:
Track and trace shipments, ensuring on-time pickup, transport, and delivery.
Maintain regular communication with drivers for real-time updates on their locations, arrival times, and delays.
Provide consistent, timely updates to customers on the status of their shipments via phone and email .
Ensure all paperwork is completed accurately and delivered in a timely manner.
Troubleshoot and resolve any logistical challenges to keep operations running smoothly.
Growth Path & Leadership Role:
As the company grows, so will your responsibilities. You will evolve from tracking and tracing to booking shipments, managing customer accounts, and leading operations. Your leadership will be critical as you begin to hire and train additional team members, scaling our operations and ensuring the company’s high standards are met at every step.
Key milestones in your growth path:
Operations Representative: After proving your skill in tracking and tracing, you will begin booking shipments and managing customer relationships. This will include quoting customers and handling their needs from start to finish.
Operations Manager: Once proficient in operations, you’ll oversee the entire process, from tracking to customer service, leading a team of tracking and operations specialists. This role will involve hiring and training new employees, ensuring the highest standards of service, and managing the daily logistics for multiple customers.
Senior Operations Manager: As the company scales, you will move into a senior leadership role. You’ll be responsible for mentoring other operations managers, ensuring all operational benchmarks are met, resolving high-level issues, and driving the company’s growth through excellent service delivery.
Executive-Level Growth: This is not just a job, but a career where you can grow into an executive leader within the company. With demonstrated leadership, performance, and growth, your compensation and role will grow to reflect your impact on the company. Pay could progress to as high as six figures (USD) with increased responsibilities.

Recruit and Hire: You will identify, interview, and hire additional team members, helping us build out a world-class team of tracking, operations, and customer service professionals.
Training and Development: You will be responsible for training new hires, ensuring they are equipped with the knowledge and skills to succeed in their roles. You will create and implement training programs to maintain our high standards.
Quality Control and Standards: You will be the driving force in ensuring operational excellence. This means setting and enforcing strict company standards for response times, pricing accuracy, and service quality. Mediocrity is not acceptable, and you’ll be expected to lead by example.
Problem Solving & Conflict Resolution: As an operations leader, you will handle escalated issues, whether they involve customer complaints, driver issues, or unforeseen logistics challenges. You will need to maintain composure, resolve issues efficiently, and ensure customer satisfaction at all times.
Strategic Growth: You’ll work closely with the company’s founders to identify new growth opportunities, optimize operations, and expand our customer base. Your input will help shape the future of the company.
Skills and Qualifications:
Exceptional Communication: You must have 1:1 USA accent and dialect, speaking and writing English fluently, with no issues or hesitations. This is critical as our customers expect to interact with someone who sounds like they are U.S.-based.
Leadership Potential: We are looking for someone who can step up into a leadership role, manage a team, and inspire others to perform at a high level.
Customer-Centric Mindset: You’ll need experience managing customer accounts, negotiating with carriers, and solving customer issues while always putting the customer first.
Problem Solving: Strong ability to quickly analyze and resolve logistical and operational problems with confidence and creativity.
Organizational Skills: Ability to handle multiple shipments, tasks, and priorities simultaneously while maintaining high attention to detail.
Computer Skills: You must be tech-savvy and comfortable with online tools and software for tracking, communication, and operations management.

Have a 1:1 USA accent and dialect, indistinguishable from a native U.S. speaker.

Be confident and natural on phone calls, ensuring that customers feel like they are working with a U.S.-based representative.
This requirement is non-negotiable, as our customers prefer working with individuals who sound as though they are based in the U.S.
