Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Maintenance Manager to oversee the overall maintenance of farm equipment, facilities, and utilities. The ideal candidate will ensure the efficient and safe operation of all electrical and mechanical systems, working closely with farm staff to implement preventative maintenance programs and respond to urgent repair needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the maintenance and repair of all farm equipment, machinery, and facilities.
  • Develop and implement a preventive maintenance schedule for electrical and mechanical systems.
  • Supervise the installation, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical systems, such as power generation, irrigation, and motor-driven machinery.
  • Lead a team of maintenance personnel, assigning tasks and ensuring completion to high standards.
  • Ensure all electrical and mechanical systems comply with local safety regulations and farm safety standards.
  • Manage maintenance budgets and coordinate with suppliers for purchasing parts and services.
  • Keep accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment servicing, and inspections.
  • Conduct regular inspections of equipment, structures, and electrical systems, and identify areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with the farm management team to improve operational efficiency.
  • Provide training and guidance to staff regarding the proper use of equipment and machinery.

Qualifications

  • Must be a graduate of Electrical Engineering.
  • Licensed Electrical Engineer (PRC license is preferred).
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in maintenance management, preferably in an agricultural or industrial setting.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, machinery repair, and mechanical troubleshooting.
  • Experience with irrigation systems, power generators, and other farm-related equipment is an advantage.
  • Proven ability to lead a team, prioritize tasks, and work under pressure.
  • Good understanding of local safety and regulatory requirements for electrical and mechanical systems.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in maintenance management software is a plus.
