· Conduct daily environmental and safety audits on assigned project site, temporary facilities, site office, and barracks.
· Conduct safety orientation for newly hired site workers.
· Conduct daily toolbox prior deployment of site workers
· Inspect, record, and examine all health and safety related complaints, workplace accidents, outbreaks of diseases, the spill of hazardous toxins or poison
· Search for physical, biological, and chemical workplace hazards
· Investigate the construction site, temporary facilities, site office and barracks to ascertain equipment, production, and material processes to not pose a safety or health hazard to employees, work guests, and the general public
· Prepare safety documents needed for project and permit applications.
· Coordinate with government agencies associated with project safety requirements such as DOLE, BFP, PEZA, etc.
· Coordinate with site foreman/lead man/warehouse man concerning all project activities.
· Coordinate with client’s concerns in the absence of project engineer.
· Train and work closely with newly hired safety officer/s.
· Will handle timekeeping in the absence of timekeeper.
· Perform other duties as required.
