End-user Support:

  • Handles all client/user/desktop/non-server hardware and software support.

o This could be stand-alone (printers, UPS, scanners, monitors, computers, and other peripherals) or equipment (printer, computers) connected to the server as “client”.

o Software support includes desktop level Windows (Professional, Enterprise), selected Adobe and MS Office products, client email, viral attack on desktop level, client LAN connection problem, equipment software driver problem, etc. and other patch or quick fixes.

  • Engineer can be assigned to one of the following sub-teams:

o Assembly (pre-delivery support on newly sold equipment)

o Field (end-user activity at the client site) or

o Repair (work is done from the office) with a regular specialized Engineer supervision.
