About Me: I’m a college professor with a successful real estate rental business and am currently launching a personal finance side-hustle, which involves managing social media, YouTube videos, and podcasts. I split my time between Philadelphia, USA, and Ireland, so I’m looking for a highly dependable virtual assistant (VA) to work primarily during night hours in the Philippines. The role involves acting as my gatekeeper and gateway, managing initial communications before I get involved, and helping me reduce my workload.

Role Overview: I’m looking for a proactive, detail-oriented VA who can handle a variety of administrative, communication, and research tasks. The role will start with a focus on contacting property managers and insurance companies, with additional responsibilities evolving over time.

If you’re a night owl and enjoy a mix of tasks—everything from responding to texts and email s to helping with social media and basic research—this is a great opportunity for you!

Key Responsibilities: (Note: Responsibilities 1 and 2 are the top priorities during the first trial month)

1. Making introductory calls to long-term rental property managers to check suitability.
2. Making introductory calls to short-term rental property managers to check suitability.
3. Contacting insurance companies to obtain quotes on assets (properties, cars, etc.).
4. Handling email , text, and phone communication from employees, vendors, and clients.
5. Sending template messages as needed to assist my existing team.
6. Sending regular email s, such as monthly tax authority reports (based on simple spreadsheet calculations).
7. Editing guest access codes and email ing guests with their updated access information.
8. Social media engagement, including responding to comments, posting content, managing >Facebook com munity pages, and sourcing images for podcasts.
9. Calendar management and scheduling.
10. Personal finance client communication (rare), acting as a virtual front desk for introductions.
11. Assisting with communication to vendors (e.g., utility companies) and third-party support (e.g., travel refunds).
12. Basic research on topics such as creating shortlists of real estate agents and rental apartments.

What You Can Expect:

- Pay starts at $4/hour for up to 40 hours per week (actual work may often take around 20 hours).
- Some days will be busier, and workload may vary from month to month, especially as my social media presence grows.
- You’ll be working with companies located in Philadelphia (EST) and Dublin, Ireland (GMT), so while you can make calls at your convenience, you’ll need to be aware of their business hours.
- During your shift, you’ll also respond to infrequent text messages from vendors and other contacts (usually less than one per day), primarily between 9:30 am - 7:30 pm EST.
- After a 1-to-3 month trial period, I offer a 13th-month bonus for workers based in the Philippines.

- You can handle occasional downtime, knowing some weeks might have more work and others less.

- You have excellent English communication skills (written and spoken).
- Familiarity with real estate or social media management is a bonus but not required.
